Reset your password
Type your username or the email address on your account. We'll email a link that works for 30 minutes. To use it you'll also need your authenticator app, security key or a recovery code. The email also tells you your username.

Two-Step Verification
Password accepted for . Confirm it's you with one of these:
Use a passkey (1Password, iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager, Windows Hello) or tap your security key when it blinks.
The dashboard has a new address, so the passkeys and security keys you added on the old one can't be used here. Sign in with one of your recovery codes below, then add them again on the Security page.
No recovery codes? Ask a Platform Admin to reset your two-step verification (Users page). You'll set it up again when you next sign in.
Lost your phone and key? Use a recovery code
Set Up Two-Step Verification
Every sign-in has a second step, so a stolen password alone can't get in. Set up one of these to continue. You can add more, of any kind, from the Security page.
Save Your Recovery Codes
If you ever lose your phone and your security key, each of these codes gets you in once. They won't be shown again. Print them or store them in a password manager — not in your email.
Choose Your Password
You signed in with a temporary password. Choose your own now. You'll use it, with your two-step verification, every time you log in.
Home
Drag widgets to arrange them, or use each widget's arrows. Make a widget narrower or wider with S, M, W and L, or by dragging its bottom corner; its height follows what's in it, and widgets close up the space around them. The gear on a widget chooses what it shows. Changes are saved as you go.

Modules in the dashboard
Each module is a group of pages. Leaving one out of the dashboard only takes it out of the menus, the module switcher and search, for everyone. Nothing is switched off: the website, orders and tickets keep working, and each person's roles still decide what they can open.
About the platform

This dashboard runs on Tierlume, Version 32: the modules a small business needs in one place, with its own website kept up to date from here.
People With Access
Each person gets one or more roles, and sees only the parts of this dashboard their roles need. Someone with two roles gets both sets. Make roles of your own on the page. Only Platform Admins can use this page. Every change here asks for your own password.
Recent Activity
Who changed what on this page. Passwords are never recorded.
Custom roles
Open exactly the modules, or parts of modules, a job needs. Give people roles on the Users page.
Built-in roles
Ready-made roles. They can't be changed; make a custom role for anything else.

Keys
The keys the site uses to talk to outside services. You can enter a key, replace it, or check that it works. You can't read one back: once a key is saved it is never shown again, to anyone. This is the only place the keys are kept, encrypted on the server.
- Every change asks for your password again.
- A new key is tried with its service first. One that doesn't work changes nothing.
- Every Platform Admin gets an email when a key is changed or removed.

Kept on the server, not here
These can't be managed from a web page, by their nature. They are changed on the server itself.
Recycling Bin
Whatever you delete with a Delete or Remove button in this dashboard comes here first, and can be put back for 30 days. After that it is deleted for good, automatically, along with its photos or resume. You see what was deleted from the parts of the dashboard you use.
A photo or picture in the bin is already off the site (a copy saved by a visitor's browser, or by Cloudflare, can linger for up to an hour). Delete Forever removes something now instead of waiting: use it when someone has asked for their photo or their details to be removed completely. Not kept here: what the site clears away by itself (events that are over, calendar events their organizer cancelled, applications and hosting requests past their keep-until date), and an applicant or hosting request is never kept past that date. Each part of the dashboard can hold up to 1,000 deleted things here at once; past that, its own oldest go first.
Two-step verification
After your password, every sign-in asks for one of these.

Sign out everywhere

Your last 20 sign-ins, newest first. Look for a time, place or browser you don't recognise. Internet addresses are kept for 90 days.
This wasn't you: secure your account
- Every other computer and phone signed in to your account is signed out now. You stay signed in here.
- Your remembered browsers are forgotten, so any new sign-in raises an alert.
- The Platform Admins are told, with the sign-in's address and browser, and it's noted in Security Monitoring.
- You choose a new password straight away: someone had your current one.
Afterwards, on the Security page: remove any authenticator app or security key you don't recognise, and make new recovery codes.

Current Albums
Each album is a row of photos, as on the website: scroll along it or use the arrows, and click a photo to see it larger. Choose photos under an album to add them; an album holds up to 50.
Add a Video
Current Videos
Every video on the Videos page, in the order shown there (lowest sort order first). Give one a title to tell it apart here; the page doesn't show titles.
Site Theme
Dress the whole site for a holiday. Switch a theme on yourself, or put it on the schedule and it comes on and goes off by itself. The rest of the time the site has its standard look.
Apply a theme now
Choose one, say how long, and press Apply. A theme you apply here stays on over anything on the schedule until you turn it off (or through the date you give). Preview opens the site wearing that theme in a new tab, for you alone, without changing anything.
Schedule
Give a theme a start date and an end date. It comes on at the start and goes off after the end date, when the site returns to its standard look. A schedule can run once, or come back every year. The site's day changes over at 4 a.m. Portland time, so a theme that ends on October 31 stays up through that night.
Coming up
What the schedule has the site wearing over the next year or so. Any day not listed is the standard look. If two schedules share some days, whichever ends first shows until it ends, then the other: so when two holidays' runs overlap, each still has the site on its own day.
Forms
Where the website's forms send people's messages, which forms are on, and forms you make yourselves for the Contact Us page.
- Changing an inbox's address, adding or removing an inbox, and choosing where a form is sent ask for your password again, and every Platform Admin gets an email about it.
- Switching a form on or off, renaming an inbox and editing a form's wording don't.
Inboxes
The email addresses the forms send to. Every form needs one, so the inboxes it uses must each have an address ("Owner copy", a hidden copy of every message, is optional). Addresses are kept encrypted on the server and are never shown on the public website. Changing one needs your password, and every Platform Admin is emailed about it.

The site's forms
Switch a form off and its card disappears from Contact Us, and the form politely refuses messages. Their questions can't be changed here: they are part of the site's own files, and some forms do more than send an email (job applications, hosting requests and event suggestions are also kept in the dashboard). Ask your web person to change those.
Forms made here
Your own forms, shown on Contact Us after the site's forms, in this order. Nothing anyone sends through them is kept on the site: each message is only emailed. Deleted forms go to the Recycling Bin.
CC Slaughters' own events: the weekly nights and monthly shows on the home page, and one-off specials. Changes show on the site within a minute. Other Portland events live under Local PDX Events.

Add an Event
Current Events
Put tickets on sale for a CC event (a special, or a weekly or monthly night) or for door entry on a regular night, on one date, several, or a repeat. Guests reserve on the Tickets page and get a ticket by email, paid at the door or by a Stripe or Square payment link. At the door, scan a guest's ticket with your phone's camera: it opens the check-in here.
Ticket Settings
Checking guests in at the door is on the Door tab (the Security role can use that tab and nothing else).
21+ Agreement
Every buyer reads this on the Tickets page, types their full legal name to sign, gives their date of birth (they must be 21 on the night) and ticks: They get a copy in their ticket email; the signed record (with the exact wording, time, IP address and browser) is kept for two years, and owners can open it from the guest list. Changing the wording makes a new version: people who already signed keep the version they signed. Have the owners’ attorney review it.

Ticket Nights
Check in guests who have tickets. Scan the QR code on a guest’s ticket with this phone’s camera app: it opens here and checks them in. Or find them in tonight’s list by name or ticket code. Check photo ID for everyone (21+).
Door Check-in
Press Scan Tickets and point this phone at a guest’s ticket: each one is checked in as soon as it’s read, and the camera stays on for the next guest. (Scanning with the phone’s own camera app works too.)
Tonight
Other queer & LGBTQ+ events around Portland. They appear in their own section of the Events page, apart from CC's own events. Most are added automatically from the calendars listed under Sources. Every event comes off the site by itself the morning after it's over.
From the old “Community Picks” list
These were typed in before Local PDX Events existed. They had no exact date, so they aren't on the site any more. For each one, either add it again with its date or delete it.
Sources
Each calendar here is re-read once a day (one that couldn't be read is tried again a few hours later). New events are added, events whose details changed are updated, and events that were cancelled or taken off the calendar are removed, all by themselves. A source needs to be a calendar feed (an address ending in .ics, such as a public Google Calendar) or an events page that publishes its events as data. Press Check Now after adding one to see what it finds. Removing a source also removes every event it added.
New Events: Straight to the Site, or Approve First?
This is the main setting. Each source below can follow it, or have its own rule.
Events
Everything currently listed: on the site, waiting for approval, or taken down. Approve, edit or remove any of them, or add one by hand.
Everyone who has asked to host an event here, through the website's Host an Event form or added by hand. Each request is kept for 12 months, then deleted automatically.
Coming Up
Dates you are holding or have confirmed, soonest first.
Requests
Food ordered from the phone menu (the QR code on the tables and the bar), and food rung up on the bar’s Clover register. New orders appear here by themselves. With Clover connected, guests pay as they order and the kitchen ticket prints once Clover confirms the payment.
Kitchen Duty
Nobody is on kitchen duty.
Pickup
Scan the code on the guest’s order (in their email, or on their order’s page) to check it’s theirs, or type the order number.

Ready
Picked up and cancelled, last 12 hours
Waiting for payment, last hour
These guests went to Clover’s checkout page. Normally an order leaves this list within a minute, when Clover confirms the payment. One that stays here and shows as paid in Clover (Transactions) can be marked paid by a Platform Admin or Operations Manager: it then goes to the kitchen. Unpaid ones are marked “not paid” after 45 minutes.
Kitchen Tablets
A kitchen tablet opens the dashboard app straight onto the kitchen screen (Kitchen Sign-in), stays signed in to it, and keeps its screen on. Staff tap their name and type their 6-digit kitchen PIN (set on My Profile) to go on duty; nobody signs in with a password there. It can only work the order board: no settings or other parts of the dashboard.
To set one up: sign in to this dashboard on the tablet, open Orders, and press the button below. Your sign-in on the tablet ends and it becomes the kitchen tablet. Then add the dashboard to its home screen (iPad: Share, Add to Home Screen; Android: the menu, Install app).

Phone Menu Set-up
The phone menu shows the whole Food and Drinks menus (edit them on the Menus tab). Here: which food sections can be ordered, what guests choose with each item, and what's sold out right now. Drinks with alcohol are always ordered at the bar (non-alcoholic drinks: the card below). Prices come from the Menus tab; an item without one is charged at pickup.
Non-alcoholic Drinks on the Phone Menu
Guests can add non-alcoholic drinks to their order and pick them up with their food, at the same spot, paid the same way. Only the drinks ticked below can be ordered; anything with alcohol stays “order at the bar”. Tick the drinks first, then a Platform Admin switches it on.
Phone Menu Link and QR Code

Everyone with a sign-in can have a time card. Add people (with the Staff role, plus any others) on the Users page.
Applications sent through the Careers page. Each one is kept for 6 months and then deleted automatically, along with its resume.

Switch this on when you're not hiring. The notice appears at the top of the public Careers page straight away, and the application form stays open. Switch it off to remove it.
Interview Availability
Add the times you're free to interview. When you send an applicant a booking request, they choose from the times that are still open. Once a time is taken it disappears for everyone else. All times are Pacific time.
Email or text everyone who's confirmed on the list. Send it now, schedule it for later, repeat it, or tie it to an event: one of your own, or one from Local PDX Events.

Visitors
How many people visit the site, which pages they look at, and where they come from. Counted by the site's own server: no outside service is involved, and the numbers move with the site.
What is collected: counts only. No cookies, nothing saved in visitors' browsers, and no tracking across other websites or from one day to the next. Each visitor's IP address and browser details are used for a moment to tell people apart on the same day, then thrown away; they are never stored. Browsers set to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and search engines and other programs, are not counted at all.
No visits counted yet
Each time someone opens a page of the site, the page tells this server which page it was and, if they followed a link from another website, that website's name. The numbers appear here within a few seconds. A person is counted once a day, however many pages they open.
Visitors
Page views
A visitor is counted once a day, so someone who comes on three different days counts three times.

Suggestions from the website
Sent through “Suggest a group or resource”. Each one was also emailed to the inbox the Forms tab sends that form to. Add one to a page (it starts hidden, so you can check and edit it before pressing Show) or dismiss it. Suggestions nobody deals with are deleted after 90 days.
On this page, a blank line starts a new paragraph, and a link is written like this: [Travel Portland](https://www.travelportland.com/). Only links starting with https:// or http:// become links. Sources and notes from the October 2026 research: docs/queer-pdx-notes.md in the site's files.
The QR code
Performers scan this with their phone camera to open the release, fill it in and sign with a finger. Print it, or show it on a phone.
Signed releases
The release's wording
Performers sign exactly these words, and each signed release keeps the version it was signed under. A change here applies to new signatures only. The starting wording was drafted from your request; have your attorney review it. The boxes performers tick (photos and video, 21 or older, amateur volunteer, liability, house rules, signing electronically) stay the same.
